| timelessness in the world of the fashionista You have to be ever-conforming to whatever the new fad is, but it is a tricky act. You can't just jump into something too early otherwise you may pick one that doesnt catch on with other fashionistas (or at least not enough of them) and that will make you look bad or at a minimum reflect poorly on your "sense of style", or if you get in too late you don't get the "cred" and "rep" you "deserve" because you waited too long to make sure enough fashionistas were doing the same thing, making it too easy for you. It's hard work playing the game of I-can-conform-faster-than-you-can and being good at it without picking the wrong thing to conform to Timelessness on the other hand.......well, all you gotta do is see it once and there is no such thing as too late or "played out". It always looks good, always has, always will. Requires no checking the direction of the winds of fad. Sometimes these two camps do actually cross paths, but it is not very often and I couldnt claim to be aware of that kid's Z well enough to know what it looked like 2 years ago in order to agree or disagree with you.
"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of "liberalism", they will adopt every principle of our socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without ever knowing how it happened.... I no longer need to run on the Socialist Party ticket because the Democrat Party has now adopted our platform." --Norman Thomas, 1944 Socialist Party Presidential Candidate "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." --Winston Churchill END THE FED ....learn why, in 42 minutes
